Background
Jaren Cloud is a lifelong musician with family roots in American & English folk music. He received his Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance from The Bob Cole Conservatory in 2013, and specializes in Ukulele, Piano, and Saxophone.
Following an 8-year stint as a marketing professional and a life-changing move to the Pacific Northwest, Jaren’s creative practice has evolved to include singing, songwriting, and poetry.
He currently teaches classes at Piece College and private lessons online and out of his home in Steilacoom, WA.

Creative practice is a way of deepening one’s connection to themselves. Rather than approaching musical study as a rigid discipline, I prefer to nurture a sense of discovery and wonder with my students. I believe that approaching your instrument should bring peace and joy, not stress or a sense of failure.
